Recent Concerts
On 6th September this year we returned to Saffron Walden to close their Band Stand Season. We were very lucky with the weather, and had a great turn out. One listener loved our Tom Jones Selection so much she rushed out and bought one of his CDs!
On 26th April 2025 we travelled to Peterborough for our bi-annual joint concert. We had a wonderful day. Conductor Henry and his band were great hosts, and together we made a great sound!

On 29th June we held a charity concert to raise funds for the Tye Green Community and Leisure Association, Many thanks to Mark Hall Academy for hosting the event, which was on a very hot day! It was a great success and we raised £750
On 4th December we returned to the Royal British Legion in Harlow, performing Christmas tunes and classics including Tom Jones Selection and Robbie Williams, Swing When You're Winning, to a great crowd.
A highlight of our year!
On 20th October 2024 we held our Autumn Concert at St John's ARC, which was a great success. We played a wide range of music, including Marche La Ronde, Neil Diamond Selection, Chanson D'Amour, Oklahoma highlights, and Crown Imperial - something for everyone!
On Sunday 15th September 2024 we played at the Gardens of Easton Lodge, near Dunmow for their Apple Day. We return next year on 21st September, once again for Apples and Bees day
On Saturday 7th September 2024 we played at the Bandstand in Saffron Walden. We are looking forward to returning in 2025.
At our May concert Mandy was chosen for the award for contribution to the band, for all her hard work on the band library. Sue was voted player of the year for stepping up to lead Flute and playing so beautifully.
